From refinishing it went on to the full restoration and electrification of customer lamps. Rod became so involved with old oil lamps at this point he decided to learn more, discovered and joined the Rushlight Club and has been an active member and collector ever since.

After handling hundreds of oil lamps, from the hanging variety to floor lamps, Rod became particularly interested in and passionate about...Table Lamps of the Victorian Period...and decided to specialize in this segment of antique lighting; his focus remains on these Lamps until this day.
